My City in the 50s

I am very happy about this. Yesterday looking into old photo albums from my grandparents i found some photos of my city back in those days, i felt so happy hearing the stories my grandfather told me about how things were back in those days. I am from a small city in Colombia called Bucaramanga, pretty nice place to live. This pictures were taken early in the 50s

some restaurants around here have aerial photos of the area from years ago kind of like those ones, they're neat to look at .

the picture with the "esso" sign is interesting. that was the big oil company Standard Oils way of distancing themselves from a problem they had (like a gulf oil spill). they were like "we're not Standard Oil from now on we're Esso (S.O.)
